The RV Katha Pandaw, built in Vietnam in 2012, is a 43.91 m river expedition vessel with a beam of 8.5 m and a shallow 1.1 m draft, allowing access to low bridges and narrower channels. Designed in the style of Burma’s historic K-class ships, it carries 24 guests in 12 teak-and-brass staterooms, with panoramic French windows, air-conditioning, Nespresso machines, minibars with complimentary drinks, spa-branded amenities, premium mattresses, and yoga mats. Cabins feature nightly turndown service, 24-hour laundry, and multi-configuration plugs, while four upper deck and eight main deck staterooms ensure comfort and intimacy for all passengers.

Dining is focused on outdoor and open-air experiences, complemented by semi-buffet breakfasts and lunches, seated theme dinners, and daily lean and light options. Guests can enjoy wines, local mineral water, and hot beverages throughout the day, alongside cultural performances, educational talks, cooking classes, and guided ship tours. Public spaces include an open-air lounge and bar, 24-hour hospitality bar, onboard bakery, library, and guest relation desk. Excursions are supported with bottled water, cold towels, and first aid-trained assistant guides. Safety is maintained with certified crew, fire systems, 24-hour watch, and a full complement of officers, chefs, guides, and housekeeping staff.
